Outpost Bbq in Kerhonkson

Drove past this scrumptious place many times on Route 52 while visiting the area. Every time I passed it, my mouth would water from the thought of freshly barbequed food! I finally gave in and stopped for a quick meal. I ordered the pulled pork, the seasoned fries, potato salad, and freshly made blueberry pie. The pulled pork, the seasoned fries, and the potato salad were absolutely tasty in every way. The fresh blueberry pie was hands down the most delicious pie I have had at a restaurant! My first meal from Outpost BBQ was so enticing that I came back the very next day for lunch! This time, I had ordered the full stack rib combo which came with cornbread and two sides for the price of $26. I also ordered another piece of blueberry pie! Once again, my taste buds were completely satisfied. I only wish more BBQ sauce was given with my meal. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. This savory gem of a place will not disappoint!

Wow! Love this place. The food is delicious. The brisket is perfect and the smokey ribs fall off the bone. The cole slaw is perfect as is the potato salad. The staff and owners were so friendly, down to earth, and charming. They really went out of their way to make the whole experience special. They have something unique going on there.Go for the food and stay for the vibes! My girlfriend and I will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu and we must’ve really missed out forgetting the pie...next time!
